Python Island (all of them) Loading notebook problem
I got the problem that loading the notebook on Python Islands.
Here's the error message:
Loading chunk 6 failed. (missing: https://notebooks.minecrafteduservices.com/everglade/ci/bundle/aznb-editor.js)
It was ok last week.
But no progress though I re-installed several times and cleaned up everything.
Anyone got a key on this problem?

I'm actually having the same problem as of now. All python islands 1 - 3 were perfectly working but I suddenly got an error similar to this. I can't access the notebooks in python islands anymore. Some of my students are having similar errors as well on loading the notebooks.
We need your assistance, moderators.
Thank you so much!

Some of my students had the same error and we tried standard troubleshooting steps like updating the game version, deleting the world and re-importing, etc. I noticed they had older versions of macOS, but they could load the provided URL in Safari without any issues, so it didn't appear to be a filtering issue. I had them switch over to the Python 101 worlds that did not use notebooks.

One thing to try is to see if updating to our beta which is running 1.18 fixes or changes the issue at all. Also, if you are running the older Mac OS are you able to update and if so does that change anything?

Hello Dominick!
Is there anyway that we could access version 1.18 as of now? If not, is there a tentative release of the patch/version? Or an alternative solution for this problem that would let me use the notebooks right now?
Thank you so much in advance!

Joshua Dave Cuesta Are you having problems with Python Islands from the online link here? https://education.minecraft.net/en-us/lessons/seymour-island
and Eric Wilson you are working with Python 101, right? from the online link here? https://education.minecraft.net/en-us/resources/computer-science-subject-kit/python-101

The one we had a problem with was Island 1 here: https://education.minecraft.net/en-us/lessons/island-1
They are BYOD devices, so I usually check for VPNs or malware, but it's not easy to update their OS version in class because it takes too long.

You can access 1.18 and get more information by referring to this article: Minecraft: Education Edition Beta program – Minecraft: Education Edition Support

I do have an article that talks about known issues with our current worlds including Python 101 worlds. Known Issues with Library Worlds – Minecraft: Education Edition Support

Hi Debbie!
It was actually this one - Python Island 3 - https://education.minecraft.net/en-us/lessons/island-3-2
Some of my students and I were able to conduct the Island 1 and 2 smoothly, but when we started on Island 3, error in the notebooks started to appear in my end and some of my students. Even if we try to open a different Island, like 1 and 2 again, it is also appearing now as well.0 -
So having taken a look into this, it looks like the issue is now resolved. It didn't have anything in particular to do with the Python Islands worlds, but instead an issue on the Python Notebooks engine end.
It may take a few days for the cached copy on student/teacher devices to pull down the fixed version, but no specific user action should be required at this stage.
It's likely installing 1.18 betas only helped as it would have cleared the cached copy of the Notebooks system while doing the reinstall. A reinstall of 1.17 would likely also have exactly the same outcome if anyone is still experiencing the issue.

Thanks, Andrew Mulholland for looking into this and getting things figured out!
