What's the specific message? Are you trying to install the application on a school/board owned device? There are often policies on school/board owned devices that prevent installations.

It's my understanding that older versions aren't available. Additionally, older copies won't be able to run worlds created in newer versions, and I suspect you'd have other functional issues.
