Cannot Open 1.18.32 On MacOS

I have a MacOS and I'm running Mojave (10.14.6), and I can't find anything specifying that I should have a certain version to open Minecraft: Education Edition 1.18.32, other than a warning that pops up as I'm trying to open the game. Is there a version requirement and how can I resolve the issue?

  Thank you for providing that information. The main thing is to update you OS version to Catalina or higher. That is the most stable build we have seen work with Minecraft Education.

  Thank you for the answer! I may not have enough storage space to download the update however, so would there be any other potential fix?
