Multiplayer Joining
Hi i'm Endorance!
And just wondering how can I join back in a world that's multiplayer because my friend made a world in minecraft edu and when I was about to leave it said it will end the multiplayer session for me which means I will lose all my stuff even tho im an Operator in the game. Is there a way to have your character stay in the world without leaving the session and being able to join back in?

Hi ENDORANCE A OSEMWENGIE - if the game is still being hosted, you should be able to re-join with the same join code and your items should still be there. If you have trouble re-joining, you can ask the host to generate a new join code.

i need help when i play multiplayer because my friends wanna join and they never load in even when I try to join them it wont work

I am sorry that multiplayer is not working as intended at this time. Can you let me know if these are school devices, if you are all part of the same school, if this occurs when trying other networks, and if it worked before?

Hi this is John and I was wondering if you can help me with joining my friends server. when we try to join each others it says "unable to connect to world" and when I try to host it says restart your client

Are you and your friend have accounts from same tenant?
Only accounts on the same tenant can join one another.

Hey so I have a big problem with joining. I type in the code to join my friends server, it CONFIRMS that it is infact his server, I confirm and as the world is loading in, it says "Unable to connect to the world. Please check your join code and try again." Uhm, I did. Several times even. What is going on??? (Fun story) So I was trying to join my friend but I put in the wrong code and it actually brought me to a random persons server and it let me join them. So why can't I join my friends??? I'm so confused.

Hey Leo,
We had some system issues on our end that was preventing some users from joining Multiplayer that we got fixed up last night. I would try having all users restart Minecraft Education and join again!

I'm having the same problem as John Vincent here, I try to host and it tells me to restart my client, same thing happens when joining.

why is his a thing? me and my brother both have account but are on different schools, but when we try to join eachother using the connection ID it says: can't connect, you don't have access to this world. I want to know why? if you do can you please help me.

We prevent student from different organizations or schools from joining each other to maintain privacy for students, especially our younger ones, and maintain a safe and controlled environment and ensure safe interactions.0
