    Hey tetsuya matsushita

When you freeze while hosting, does the entire app freeze or does it disconnect you back to the main menu? I'd also confirm that your mac mini's specs meet our minimum requirements listed here: System Requirements – Minecraft Education

I also recommend updating your MacOS to the latest version if you're not already on it.

  • Hi, Justin.

In my case, I could only move my avatar but couldn't open chat, CodeBuilder, inventory or setting menu.

My MacOS is Ventura 13.4.1, it seems the latest version of them.

    Hey there!

If you are still having issues, you could always back up your worlds, uninstall and reinstall our beta to see if that helps with your issues:

  • Hi Danny, Justin, and Tetsuya,

Commenting again here to piggyback on this thread of this "freezing" issue that is still not resolved, as this poster is having the same issues I've been describing for months. I've made lots of posts about this issue, but none of the updates that have been sent out have fixed the issue.

I wrote about it last month here:

I am currently teaching a summer program and the same exact issues are still happening.

Inventory doesn't work, NPCs can't be interacted with, other players appear frozen, etc. I have used Minecraft EE for years. It's not our network or school. All was good prior to 1.19.52 with 30+ students all together for 2+ hours.

    After 1.19.52 and 1.19.53, it's been a disaster.

I "can" get Minecraft EE to work through manual restarts of both chromebooks/windows PCs immediately prior to the lesson. This isn't ideal and wastes of ton of instructional time. I wish I could roll back everything to 1.18 because I never had any problems.

We start our full school year in about a month and a half, and am hoping your team can resolve this still unresolved issue.
