major troubles with last 2 versions (till 1.18 it worked perfect!)
I have 400 active licenses (meaning 400 active students!)
For the past months I have been struggling with the 2 latest versions. struggling meaning - not being able to run proper classes. Since I'm not a professional tech expert, I thought it was related to general internet issues, computability, maybe the weather, etc.
The latest version is even worse - and I'm actually required due to students and parents complains to revoke my courses (if no solution will urgently take place) this is nuts!!
It is not a matter of convenience and/or minor issues which I can walk around. After reading other similar complains from so many other teachers, in this forum and other places, I understand that it is structural defects in the versions release - It is scandalous!
I have successfully managed Minecraft courses, for the prior 2 years (I was invited to be interviewed in a TV show and even won an educational prize for these courses achievements (400 students!!)
The main difficulties I experience:
- Inventory does not work as soon as students join the multiplayer world, every second time they join in
- terrible lags, resulting:
- tp a player (the player stays in current position no tp.
- coding a circle (of example) ⅓ of blocks does not appear (have to run the script 3-4 times till the circle is completed)
- the worlds freezes constantly
- saving worlds often does not work and the students work is gone (!!)
Needless to say that I went through numerous computer restarts (both host/server and clients, login in and out (both), router restarts, using wifi using LAN, trying to run from within the actual physical class or remotely from homes etc. etc. etc. - a nightmare!
Please assist me! (please don't advise: "restart"...)

I am sorry that you are experiencing this issue. The common thread that we have found is that if any user joins a world that does not match, the issue you mentioned above will appear. Make sure that the host and all users that join your world are on 1.19 and let us know if this was the case.

Thanks for the reply
First of all, these are "issues" not a one issue.
THIS IS NOT THE CASE as all users are playing on the same 1.19 version, so your answer is not the solution.
We are all aligned with the 1.19 version and all the issues appear regardless the compatibility of the version!!let me ask that: if your answer does not match the actual situation (all are in 1.19: host and users) what should be done? should we keep on with generic answers back and forth?
Can I get someone's help - maybe to join me using ZOOM or equivalent remote session for mutual walk through these issues.
This is quite urgent, Thanks0 -
Thank you for clarifying and explaining the situation. We are still investigating this issue and I am sorry that the version solution did not help you. Once we find a solution with the Devs we will update everyone. I would check your proxies and content filters to see if one of them might be causing this.

Is there a general issue for everyone that you're investigating?
Obviously, this is not a minor issue that I"m experiance souly (reading others that have the same issues)What is the prospect?
Should I cancel all my Minecraft edsucation activities for now?
Should someone call me and try to help me? do you believe that I should wait for your general investigation while hundreds of students will have to drop the courses? I spend 2000$ a year for the licenses - shouldn't I get a different level of support?!
Will you address my concerns and not provie generic answers?0 -
We are only providing the answers we are given since these issues were not reported in the Beta and point to the different tools implemented in schools. I will create a ticket for you to try and address this issue, but there is no workaround at this time.
