  It sounds to me like you are saying that the game is asking you to connect to the internet, but your computer is connected to the internet.

  Can you tell me what version of Minecraft you are using, please? We want to help.

  Check for any blocks on your network traffic as well. And if this is a managed school device reach out to your teacher or IT department to take a look on the backend.
