Most simplistic way to return an incorrect code back to a student to resubmit
Greetings! My co-teacher and I are wondering what is the easiest way to return an incorrect code back to a student for them to resubmit it after they have corrected the errors. On our instructor end it still says it is in progress even though they have submitted it. Thanks for any suggestions!

Extremely happy to hear that your class is coding!!!
In part, this depends on the type of code.
If they have sent text copy of Python from AZNB or the text window of MakeCode, or text from Java, simply sending them the text, if necessary, does the trick. (If it's an email, or pasted in Private Comments in a LMS, is should still be okay as well.)
The really awful thing about this is when the indentation gets all bunked up. In this case they should just start at the top and re-indent. But keeping their own copy is best.
But it sounds like you are referring to a progression in a tutorial or a world? Let me know so I can be more specific and helpful!
(In the tutorials, they kind of won't "let go" unless the user clicks through to the last page, even if they haven't done all of the coding steps.)
