I understand and am sorry that this is affecting everyone. At this time the new update has caused some bugs that the Dev team are addressing. We hope that the upcoming patch will address this. One suggestion is to try with a new profile that does not have restrictions in place. If it works from there add more and more of your policies into the profile to see what might be causing the communication issues. A bug report for Mac issues with the new update has been generated and sent to the Dev team.

I'm running into this issue on a Mac M1 Max. Minecraft education version 1.20.12. Did you guys ever resolve this?

    Hey there,

Sorry to hear you are running into some issues.

What OS version are you running?

    Has it worked prior?

Do you know others running into this issue as well?

Is this is a home or school issued device?

It's macOS Ventura. It's the first time I'm trying to install this on this laptop. Home issued device.

I'm also seeing this problem again.

    Running Ventura 13.5.1 (22G90)

    Minecraft Education version 1.20.12

This previously occurred with 1.18. Problem resolved, but is now back with all Macs in our district.
