We are attempting to consolidate the information for Chromebooks that are experiencing the crash at time of login with a Black screen or the Mojang logo. Please refer to this thread for this issue: Black Screen on minecraft(*) – Minecraft: Education Edition Support.

Sorry to hear! This is an issue the test team is still investigating.

If you feel comfortable, if there are any error codes that are being generated, let me know and I will make a ticket for us and I will share it with our team.

Unfortunately there were no messages, error or otherwise - just a black screen or a dimmed out Mojang splash screen. I am not aware of any log files since the Android system hides any files in  the Google Play directory,

You can try updating the Google play store for the Chromebook and make sure the settings inside the device are set to allow Google play to run on the device. Then check the Chromebooks OS version and see if you can update. You can also try power washing the device to clear out any corrupted profiles, but this is a last resort since it will delete users files.

Hi, thank you for your comment.

I did everything about power washing, uninstall/re-install but the situation is same.

    Chromebook's OS version is latest.

I saw the same kind of POST on this community.

    Is this still investigating?
