    Greetings Byan!

If you would can you tell me where you are trying to download from? We have different download options here: Download | Minecraft Education Edition so if one doesn't work you can try the next one. Let me know if that works for you, if not we may need to try an older client download and then have you update from there.

  • Hi Dominick,

Yes i have same issue also. Exactly same. At Windows 7 SP1. But if I installed at Windows 10, it can.

Through your suggestion, when I click that download link, only 1 download file available and still can not. What do you mean with "try the next one" ?

I has installed the certificate at Digital Signature also, but still can not. Please if you have any suggestion, because too much people ask for it when I check at google.

    Thank you

This is a bug with the OS version causing that error message to be thrown. You can try installing the app from the Microsoft Store if the links on our main website are not working for you.

  • I tried to install from the Microsoft Store at PC: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/games/windows?icid=CNavGamesWindowsGames

but, the link still same redirect to minecraft.net and still same file to install. So, the problem still same.

Do you have any idea how to install at windows 7? Or another link or version maybe?

    Thank you

I recognize that Minecraft Education Edition is still supported on that older platform, however the window on Windows 7 has very much closed.

I would highly recommend upgrading to Windows 10 for a bunch of reasons (particularly for the benefits of receiving security updates, but also for solving your current issues). Most systems that supported Windows 7 will support Windows 10, and you can still upgrade for free using your old Windows 7 license. You can download the tool for creating Windows 10 bootable media here.

Of course, before you perform any Windows 10 installs, I highly recommend you backup all your files & bookmarks etc. first!
