no mobs spawning

i'm doing a Project at school and i have no mobs in my multiplayer world that i host i have to summon the mobs but it's still not enough i checked everything mob spawn is on natural regeneration on

  Hello Brady!

  So, when you say no mobs are in the multiplayer world are you saying no mobs start out in the world or your unable to spawn them? Also, what world are you trying to do this in? The setting you want enabled is labeled "allow mobs." If it is labeled something else, please make sure you've updated the game and that you are trying this on Minecraft Education Edition.

  yes i mean i can not spawn them i updated it was only in that world and it's ok now because i updated minecraft and the world disapeared so yeah...
