LTE connections unable to join School Hosted Minecraft Worlds
I am a tech team member for our school division. Due to COVID we have students in AHL (At home learning) and have tried to use Minecraft as an engaging tool to deliver curriculum, however we have discovered a blocker. Any student or staff attempting to connect to our school using a DSL connection is able to connect without issue. Any student or staff connecting with LTE (Wireless Hub, Cell Phone hotspot, etc.) cannot join under any circumstance. This has nothing to do with our firewall. We believe it may be related to NAT Type however we are unable to confirm that. (while PC's are typically immune to NAT in online gaming, it appears that Minecraft Education Edition may not be immune to that). We have done extensive tests and not one person with LTE connection can join, and all attempts from DSL have been successful. As we live in Northern Canada, a lot of our students and staff use LTE as their network connections, as DSL here is not great and prone to low speeds vs our LTE options.
I have a couple questions I hope to have answered:
Is the team at Minecraft Education Edition aware of this?
Is there plans to expand support for LTE Customers?
Is there methods we are unaware of to mitigate this?

Hi there Marcus Frowley. Currently, Minecraft: Education Edition does not support LTE hubs for multiplayer. We apologize for the inconvenience here.
