Trying to import Modeling Gratitude into Minecraft Education Edition and it's grayed out

I'm an approved educator for Minecraft Education Edition.  I'm trying to import Modeling Gratitude.mctemplate into Minecraft but the file is grey/gray.  I've moved it to my desktop to other files/areas on my Macbook and it is still not available for import or upload into Minecraft.  Why?

  Hello Barbara Berkley,

  Let's try the following: Right click, open with, other, use the drop down menu to choose Enable: All Applications, then choose M:EE.

  Hi Barbara and Kyle,

  If you are using MacOS, the mctemplate file does not open. Try changing the extension to mcworld and importing it in Minecraft. I can open it this way.
