i can't log into update 1.14 but i can on 1.12

me and my friends tried to play Minecraft yesterday but when he told me that I'm on a older update I decide to update it to 1.14. it downloaded as expected but when I try to login it says that I'm not connected to the internet even though I am but it does allow me to play on trial. Please help anybody.

  Make sure you uninstall any previous versions before you install a new one. If you don't, file conflicts can cause issues.

  Yes, great suggestion from Nathan Lam. This looks like you most likely have two versions of the Education Edition installed.
