Hi Peter, I just tested this and everything appears to be working fine. Is the issue persisting?

    See attached video for behaviour.

Seems to be occurring only on some worlds I have created.

I have another device with v1.4 and they export fine from there.

Same thing happening on a couple of v1.7.1 devices.

Looks like this could only be happening with worlds imported that were created in earlier MEE versions  (using the import button, not auto imported when version upgraded)

Your video shows a more pervasive problem than mine but since it's related I wanted to share on this thread:

I learned the hard way earlier this week that if you have a punctuation mark in your world file it allows you to save or copy but aborts the menu opening when you click Export. Once I deleted a well-placed colon suddenly the menu appeared just fine. So check your title, just in case.

Would have LOVED an error message telling me the punctuation was the problem rather than finding out by a fluke. Changed an entire set of professional development activities because I couldn't export the world. Didn't discover this until after the PD was done so now I'm committed to spreading the word. LOL

Jan - this is exactly what the issue was - have a colon later in the world name and once removed can be exported - agree an error message would have been nice since it wasnt an issue in v1.4.

    Massive thanks!

Oh wow, Peter! That's great news. I had considered not posting since the video didn't show punctuation in your title. Glad I did anyway.

@KyleMcMurtry, may I request you ask your team to code an error message when we're trying to export with punctuation (ie. a colon) in a world title in the next update? Or maybe a general FYI so you don't get anymore confused messages about that? ;)
