    Hi Adam Tallman,

This error usually indicates that you have two versions of the app on your machine (uwp and win32). Please try removing one and let me know if it helps.

If you think this is a different issue go ahead and submit a request so we can chat further.

     Hi Kyle McMurtry,

I have seen that interaction between the two versions before. In this case the machines only have the UWP app.

Just in case there was a previously broken install, on one of the machines I installed the win32 app and removed it to clean anything that may have been left behind. Still the UWP app does not present the login popup.

We are still in the process of making sure there is nothing in our firewall/filter causing the problem. But we would expect all computers to be affected if that were the case.

Annoyingly one of the computers with this problem yesterday is now working today; the login popup is appearing and I can login.

The Minecraft.AdalServer.exe process is not starting but I cant find out what is supposed to be triggering it to run. I have not found any log files for M:EE that could provide some insight.

A lot of students in my class are getting this alert, but they're working on chromebooks and not all of them have it at the same time. Why is this? How do I check if there's 2 versions of it on a chromebook which is under a school account and all the apps are pushed out via the admin?
