I get the same problem, but I think it's just MC; it did it on my system even before the update. Our district is getting new laptops this summer so hopefully it won't be such a load.

    Hello,

M:EE can cause other applications to run slower, and that is something we plan on fixing soon. However, there shouldn't be anything in the latest release that should be noticeably different.

I've got 16Gb of RAM, so it shouldn't be quite so laggy.

  • I am getting 100% cpu on a Macbook pro i5 dual core, 8GM ram and HD3000 500GB graphics card.  Any idea how to improve performance?

Hello Guys, I am technical support, I run some tests with MineEdu on a few computers and I found a solution for this issue.

If your computer does not have a Celeron 1.0Ghz kkkkkk It will probably work fine.

Firstly you have to uninstall Minecraft Education from your computer. After that, you have to go to "Appdata>Roaming or Local or Locallow" it depends on your computer and DELETE MinecraftEducationEdition folder.
Than you just need to install again.

Let me know if it worked for u guys.

    Cheers.
