HOW DO I USE HEAT BLOCKS IN THE FILL COMMAND?!

I only see how to make them on the lab table from water, salt, charcoal and iron.

Not every block that you can use can be handled in every way. For example, the only way to get some blocks is to give them to yourself in chat. I would try making some and using code to place them, and see if you can find out the name MC uses for them. Good luck!

  • Could you please add this? Include it in the next update if possible. If it doesn't take long to do, could you also make an update just for this feature?

    Hey there!

You made a ticket about this request and I responded with an option for you to have a team member of ours contact you and possibly work together to find a solution :)

Let's continue the conversation there, see you there if you have any further questions!

If memory serves in past chats with the developers, this block (and other items in the Chemistry addition) are not available through the regular inventory or suite of commands and this is intentional.

It forces the player to craft the items. I don't think wider applications like using the fill command were considered at the time.

It might (I haven't tested this) be possible to use the structure block to fill an area with heat blocks, but you'd have to fill an area by hand to have something to start with. If it works though, you could fill an area quicker, although not as efficiently as /fill.
