    Hey there,

Sorry to hear you are running into some issues.

Just had a few questions to help us support you further:

1.) What device make / model and OS version are you on when you got this error?

2.) Are you on the latest version of Minecraft Education?

3.) Is this a home network or school network?

4.) Is this a commercial account or school managed account?

Yes please! If you could share your specs that would be great as well.

Along with a screenshot of the screen it is stuck on (without any personal info).

    Thanks!

Thanks for sharing your specs! I do believe it has to do with the Celeron processor. We have seen this issue before on other devices running lower end Celerons.

Do you have another device you can test Minecraft Education on?

    Hey Jacob,

Upon double checking, your system doesn't meet minimum requirements for Minecraft Education. As such, we can't guarantee support for Minecraft Education. We only guarantee support from the Celeron 4100 and up

See our System Requirements – Minecraft Education

I can, however, provide a few steps that might help you out.

    1. Make sure your device drivers are up to date. In this case, I would especially ensure you update your iGPU and Chipset drivers are up to date. Intel® Driver & Support Assistant

    2. You can try a Thorough Uninstall and reinstall. Steps below:

First backup your worlds, if you have any, by manually searching for and backing up your worlds by following these paths in Windows. Just copy that minecraftWorlds folder and paste a copy on your desktop.

    PC: C:\Users\(USERNAME)\AppData\Roaming\Minecraft Education\games\com.mojang\minecraftWorlds

note: USERNAME refers to the user account used to login to the device, not the login for Minecraft Education.

Open Control Panel and navigate to, Add / Remove programs, find Minecraft Education and select uninstall. Then perform the following to delete any other remaining files:

    1. Hit Windows Button + R to pull up Run
    2. In the open bar, paste: %appdata%/Minecraft Education
    3. Hit enter
    4. Create a backup of this folder somewhere like on your desktop. Then, delete the Minecraft Education folder in app data
    5. Then, do the above four steps again, but instead for %temp%/minecraftpe

Now, reinstall Minecraft Education from here: https://education.minecraft.net/get-started/download

If that resolves your issue, you can go ahead and move your worlds back.
