    Hey Lee,

What part of the process are your students struggling with the most?
If you click "share link" on the library page, you will have the option to copy the link, which you can post on your smartboard, or share the link directly from e-mail, Teams, or Google Classroom depending on what works best for your classroom

Lee Hollman I just want to share what we have done in my district.

I published an internal webpage with the links and join codes.  Our teachers have access to the webpage so they can copy the links and download images of the join codes as needed (to be displayed on the Smartboard/BenQ).

You could do something similar but share the webpage with students so all they have to do is navigate to the webpage and click the link, or enter the join codes.  You could even deploy a shortcut to the internal webpage (via Classlink, Google Classroom or in your Chrome Browser policy or Microsoft Windows Group Policy).

You just need to be able to quickly update your internal webpage, because every time you reload the session, you will need to update the links and join codes on the webpage.

Hope that at least points you in the right direction!

    Hi, Brian and Ernie,

So Ernie.... I see how to access and assign lessons as per the image that you shared. I want to know if I were to display the link, can students enter it once they enter Minecraft Education or how and where they type the URL.

Brian, you mentioned join codes with each lesson. When I get on here, I can get the link. How do I get join codes? My reasoning is that if I can display a join code, it's much easier. I need to know also if the Web site that you set up is a standard http protocol site or something else.

    Thanks!

    Lee

P.S. Ernie, just to clarify.... I can easily cut and paste the link to what I share on a Google Slide and show it to all the kids on a huge SmartTV, but I don't quite get how the kids use this URL. I mean I know that they log into Minecraft Education with their school e-mail and passwords, but then what? Where do they enter this URL?

    Hey Lee,

In regard to the URL, they would just either just click on it, or type/paste it into any web-browser of their choice.

A webpage like Brian suggested could be very helpful, or even just a classroom chat that can where the URL can be shared. You have several options here, and it really just depends what works for your situation.

    ---

The join codes would only be used when someone is hosting a world for a multiplayer session, but the easiest way to find the join codes would be to select "host" on your world, and press escape once the world loads

the pictographs in the above screenshot are what you would share, and you can also see that there is a "share link" option as well.

P.S. Brian.... just made my own little Web site with its own domain, so it should be easy for kids to just click the link. I'm not sure what they do after clicking the link as far as signing in. Thanks! We're just about ready to run with this. Thanks specifically for your patience.

Rockin'! Just made my own little Web site to link to modules and everything's going great!

Just curious if there's an article on viewing student progress. Otherwise, we're done here. Thanks!

    Great to hear Lee!

And there is no current way to view student progress aside from them sharing their worlds with you or you perhaps setting a deliverable as part of an assignment.

Cheers and have a great holiday!
