Teacher's Lounge.
I think I already know the answer.
So this is probably a complaint as well as a problem.
I'm assuming that there is no way to access the Teacher's Lounge other than through Facebook, is that correct?
That excludes any of us who don't, won't and never will have anything to do with anything Meta related.
Thanks.

Hey Ben,
While I completely understand where you are coming from, unfortunately you are correct in assuming that the teacher's lounge is exclusively hosted on Facebook.

If you're looking to make connections with other educators or have Minecraft conversations or ask questions, there's quite a few communities on Discord as well: Minecraft Education, PlayMatters and I run a little one myself, Outsidetheblocks.
If you aren't really into Discord, I also hold a small informal monthly Minecraft meeting which you're welcome to join.

Thanks both. :)

I understand I'm resurrecting an older post here, but I would like to know if there is even consideration for migrating from Meta/Facebook to another platform?
Facebook and Discord are two domains that I'm sure many schools block, and I don't want on my work history anyway.
A Microsoft Teams group is the intuitive solution as the O365 accounts are already in place, staff already have appropriate permissions to use Teams, and it doesn't require a third-party, especially one with as many privacy concerns as Meta.
I'd love to collaborate but... a photo or gov't ID to collaborate is a bit of an ask.
