Free trial clarification
I haven't been able to find this info anywhere else. It is regarding the statement in the
Try Minecraft Education for free – Minecraft Education by Nate Mackie
The trial is limited by the number of logins (25 for teachers with an Office 365 Education account and 10 for all other users) before a paid license is required to continue playing. Trial logins cannot be refreshed – if you have any issues, contact our support team right away so you don’t use all your trial logins! After your trial logins have been used, Minecraft Education is available to purchase.
Is the 10 logins limitation based on individual users or total users in the M365 tenant.
For example:
- Bob logs into Minecraft with his school account. That starts the 10-login counter. He will be able to exit and re-login to M:EE 9 more times
- A class of 20 pupils all try to login to M:EE using their school account. The quickest 10 pupils will get in and the other 10 students won't be able to. The school will not be able to user the free trial beyond that one session
I'm hoping the answer is scenario 1 above, meaning that all pupils can enjoy playing Minecraft over our Summer fun activity week.

Hey there!
Each individual user has 10 logins associated to their user account that is on the tenant. The answer is 1 to your scenario above, speed is not a factor.

Great, so if a school has 1000 pupils they will all be able to log in to have 10 free logins each.
