This most likely is due to users connecting to the world on different versions of the client. I would confirm with your students that they are on 1.19 before joining the world. If even one user joins that is not, these issues will appear in your world.

  • Dominick, I appreciate the feedback, but this has not been the solution.

EVERY one of my students have updated. I have even verified by creating a world that can only be opened with 1.19.

    The same issues still persist:

    Inventory not opening...

    Players freezing...

    NPCs not working...

    Etc...

I have used Minecraft Education for YEARS. We've built world with 25+ players all year long. ZERO ISSUES.

As soon as 1.19 hit - nothing has worked reliably. After about 10 people join, all the issues above occur.

I'm not installing network/packet sniffers and wasting my own time to figure this out. v1.18 did not have this issue. Nothing has changed on our network. I've simply abandoned Minecraft lessons for now. Over a month now with these same problems. If I could roll back all the devices to v1.18, I would. It really has put a damper on my classes for the remaining month of school.

Hoping for a real solution/update soon.

    Hey William,

We hear you, and understand your frustrations. Thanks for checking in and letting us know about your students updates.

The test team are working towards solutions with the help of packet captures. If you change your mind and want to send us come PCAPs or Fiddlers, just let us know and we can open a ticket. Otherwise, totally understandable if you don't want to spend more time on this.

Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for the patience on this one.
