Gmail admin help with logging in to MC Edu
I'm really struggling with this, and would like to look for the solution myself before our tech advisor charges us $110 per 15 mins.
We are a Gmail school, so have been set up with Microsoft licences that somehow attach to our senior class Gmail addresses. I'm not sure how that works exactly (hence asking for help) and I'm really hoping someone here knows how to fix this.
I have 3 children in my class with Gmail addresses who can't log into MC, and the administrator and I can't work out why. The admin setting for Gmail look the same for all of the students. We have deleted the accounts from last year that were using licences, so we do have free licenses.
I'm hoping this makes sense to someone and the problem can be solved. Any idea would be very welcome. Thank you so much in advance.

Hey there!
Minecraft Education is available to schools that use Google accounts. With that said, Minecraft Education licenses can only be assigned to Microsoft accounts. This leaves you with a couple of options. You can utilize Single Sign On so users only need to log in once, then they'll be auto logged in for the future on that device account. Or, you can set up a SAML federation between the Microsoft tenant and your Google accounts, thus linking them and allowing one login between the two.
SAML Federations do require some extra steps, but you can find some extra info under "Option 2" and "Option 3" in this article:

Hi, Kara - if your students have Microsoft licenses, then you should have an admin account, and an office.com account.
I am the admin for our Microsoft 365 accounts (I'm assuming that is what we are talking about here.) They passwords for *Minecraft* are the same as the passwords for *Office 365* - and are NOT the same as your gmail account. For example, our students log in as myname@mydomain.org with their email password.
Then I go to office.com. On the left hand side I choose the admin gear. In the admin panel, I add student accounts. So I have to add each student to give them access to Minecraft there (now that the store has changed.) I add myname@mydomain.org but I don't know their private passwords!!! I can either make one up and give the password to them, or wait for them to come to class, and reset it for them while they are there.
I hope that saves you a few bucks Let me know if you have questions!
