Coding in Multiplayer
Is there a way to use code when in a shared world? The only way to get coding to work is if you (or students) are OPerators of the world, right? I a trying to get all kids the ability to code, but without OP privileges.

At this time you do need OP settings to code/make changes to the world.

Darren Smith - it is the huge challenge of coding worlds. (and why I am a "we don't *do* shared worlds" kind of teacher in general) When students are coding, they have their hands on the steering wheel, as it were. With great power, comes great responsibility! And in many cases, mischief, exploration of unusual player states to impose, and waaaay too many destructive items! Yes, I can manage it all, but I'd rather let them be in their own world, (master of all they survey) more often than not.

We still love coding in Minecraft! =] We just don't share worlds very often.
