It has been nearly 2 years since minecraft edu has been stuck on a black screen. It works on the school computers in my school, but when I try it at home it doesn't work. Months ago people claimed this will be fixed. It still doesn't work. I want to play. My friends want to play. No one can. Fix this now.

  Make sure you update your OS version and the game client. We have deployed hotfixes that should help. Can you tell us what device you are using?

  I am on the latest update on beta mode and my OS is up to date. I'm on a HP chromebook.

  Hey there,

  I recommend  backing up your worlds, uninstalling Minecraft: Education and reinstalling from here: https://education.minecraft.net/en-us/get-started/download 

  Try the latest live build for the patches Dominick mentioned, not the beta build.
