critical permissions error
critical permissions error
1.18.42
Situation:
The teacher opens 2 accounts (shower, st030)
The world is set by the st030 account (survival, and all joiners have member authority, as shown in the figure1)
then invites students into the world by link.
error 1
When the student account enters the world, they all have the highest authority (as shown in Figure 2), instead of the original set general operation authority, and the st030 that opened the server cannot modify their highest authority.
error 2
When a student attacks a horse, there is a message notification?
Also looks like a bug.
But the first mistake has seriously affected the progress of the course. We have been using minecraft education edition for nearly a year, and many student works have been accumulated in the world archives. Such permission issues will make student works vulnerable to damage.

How can we get help?

The first part of the user permissions is determined by the organization type. If it's a commercial organization, all users will have OP status when they connect. If it's an EDU organization, then user permissions can be set by assigning them faculty and student licenses. Make sure your 365 subscription is active and then try refreshing the licenses. First unassign the licenses from the students and then reassign them the student Minecraft Education licenses. I hope this helps.
