Hi Cassie Tregenza we've sometimes seen this issue when not all of the URLs for Minecraft Education services are allowed through the network.  Make sure your school network and device allow all of the URLs listed on this page:  https://aka.ms/MEERequiredURLs

I had the same problem. I found out that if I connect to Clasroommode before the students are loggin in, then the map shows. if the student are logged in, the the map is all black/not showing. don't know if it is a bug, but it seems to work for me.

    Hey Anders,

I have had the same work around! BUT if I have more than 10 students login the UI freezes or stops adding new members!

Try having the users connecting check to see if their render distance is maxed out. I recommend setting it to 6 chunks for all users connecting to the hosted world and see if that helps.

    Hey Cassie

Well, I didn't know that. Thanks for sharing that info. I work with very smalle classes, because I teach only children with autisme, ADHD, OCD and so on, so we haven't reached that maximum yet. But next year we will work in lager groups on a server, and it's nice to know the classroommode limitations. Merry Christmas.
