Minecraft Education Edition now subscription based?
I'm a teacher and I've used Minecraft Education Edition for years now. About a month ago, I got a message saying my trial had ended and I now have to have my administration purchase a license? I'm using a Mac for myself. I logged onto one of my students' accounts on their Chromebook and it works fine on theirs.
Even worse, when I try to buy an academic license from Microsoft's website, my school board has not allowed permission. So I'm basically locked out of my old account and cannot assign any new worlds to my students.
Any advice? Please help!

It sounds like your organization might have Minecraft Education bundled in with their 365 subscriptions. To move forward I would contact and admin for your school and see about having one of those bundled licenses assigned or ask about getting permissions added to your account to purchase licenses. Trial licenses look very similar on the backend as full licenses. Your students may still have access now but might also get the message after they login enough times. Trial licenses allow for 10 student logins and staff members 25 logins before that prompt appears. I hope this helps.
