Minecraft education edition not launching
Minecraft education edition used to work fine for me on windows, launching off an icon on the desktop. I then tried using a custom world by the BBC (so possibly this caused a bug but not a dodgy site), which launched it correctly from a window. Now whenever I launch it it goes to a black screen (as it used to before loading the home screen) then closes the app. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but the same issue keeps happening.
Can anyone help? I've not seen anyone else report the same issue.

Was this world created for the Bedrock Edition or a BBC world for Minecraft Education? I would try using an uninstall tool from the web that you trust to completely remove leftover files and the like after an uninstall. Then restart your machine and re-install and see if that removes the issue. I hope that helps.

It was a BBC world for Minecraft Education.
I uninstalled Education Edition using IObit Uninstaller then restarted and re-installed but the issue is exactly the same, it goes to launch, loads a black screen for like 5 seconds then closes it without showing anything else. It's really strange.

Can you let us know more about your device and its OS and client version you are running? If you are on a newer OS version, try rolling it back to an earlier build of that OS to see if that helps.
