Settings in Minecraft EDU
Hello everyone! I'm fairly new to Minecraft EDU, but I know the basics. I was using it as a way for my students to complete their "Build Your Own Country" projects. They are really just using the program to build their countries, write laws, constitution, etc. but of course 4th graders are killing each others' dogs and nonsense like that. Do I need to disable the chat because I see there are ways for them to type in commands and kill players and animals? I have them set it on Creative, Peaceful, flat, and turn off all the TNT, friendly fire settings. If anyone can help me make sure I tighten up my settings with them, I'd greatly appreciate it!

This is a good problem! I would recommend that you consider changing their status to member instead of operator. Chat is good, but it sounds like they need help managing the power of commands. You could also have small groups working in a world of their own so there is no mixing of groups in a single world. Sometimes that separation helps a small group focus on their work.
