Joining on different wifi networks not working
Currently I am having issues with students being able to join my world from different WIFI networks. We are still remote and so must rely on different networks. I have opened up the port and was able to get students in last semester but the most recent update provides students with unable to join world message.

Hi there Brendan Lea. I'm sorry to hear about the issue with those networks. Can you let me know what the exact error message is you're seeing?
I would also double check to see if your firewall has all the required URLs allow listed from this site since the update:
URLs Used by Minecraft: Education Edition – Minecraft: Education Edition Support
Let us know if this helps!

can you guys extend the reach for worlds becasue if your over about 500 ft, then you can't join

We are well over 500ft. We are actually in different countries. The thing is we were able to get it working in the fall by opening up a port (it's on one of the pages). However, with this recent update it's not working.

Hi,
My apologies for the delay in getting back to you. I have checked the firewall and I actually don't have it turned on.
The error that I see is below.
Notes:
- I was hosting this game from one network and joining from a different network (this has worked in the passed)
- When I join from the same network, I am able to connect to the world no problem
- It is not possible for my students to join the game from the same network as me as I'm currently in a different country and will be for the rest of the school year.
