M:EE MakeCode not working with 1.17.30 on MacBook OS Catalina
I am a classroom teacher and have used MakeCode in M:EE for a couple of years without issue. Today when introducing it to a class I noticed on my computer I was unable to change the values of any of the blocks, and clicking on the blocks often made them "stuck" to my mouse cursor, with the only means of getting them unstuck was to close the code editor with "C" and re-open it.
I assumed this was an issue with my own computer and had students attempt to get in to the Chicken Rain challenge while I reset my computer, assuming it would fix it. But every student device had the exact same issue. The devices were a combination of Macbook Airs and MacBook Pros, all running Catalina.
I was able to get into the MakeCode section successfully using Chromebooks and an iPad, but none of the 27 MacBooks were able to use MakeCode, despite trying to restart the computers and reinstall Minecraft on them.
This issues seems to have coincided with the update our school received to 1.17.30, though this is the first time since the update I have tried coding with students, so that may just be a correllation.
Any help would be appreciated. Unfortunately updating the computers to OS Monterey is not an option as computer images are pushed on a board wide basis.

You are the third Mac user with a similar problem. I am on a Catalina Mac, but I will start a thread in Tech help with all of your posts and see if we can be sure this allows data to be collected and user needs to be addresses quickly and effectively, as I know everyone wants!
This is the thread:
