I can't open/run 1.17

I recently downloaded the latest version of education edition, but it doesn't let me run the program. Considering that the computer I use is pretty old, I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't let me run it, but I'm hoping that it's something else. :(

  How about trying to run as Administrator or install using Administrator account?

  I tried doing the uninstall and re-install tactic, and it worked!
  
  But now the screen is always stuck to downloading resources.
  
  I solved one problem, and got another D:

  Hi Sally Zhen, I'm sorry to hear you are having issues installing.  We've had some reports of installation issues with older machines.  Could you try a couple of things:

  1) Make sure your device is up-to-date with all Windows Updates.

  2) Follow the directions on this article to do a full clean uninstall of Minecraft: Education Edition, and then download and install the latest version from our download page.   Scroll down to "Step 1" on this page:  Transitioning to the desktop application for Minecraft: Education Edition – Minecraft: Education Edition Support
