Collect sweet berries with the Agent? Documentation?
My student and I are experimenting with a survival world where you need to do as much as possible via programming.* I tried to get my Agent to gather some sweet berries, but I couldn’t figure out which MakeCode block to use. I tried interact
, but that command didn’t do anything. Is it possible to do this with the Agent?
On a related note, I tried to track down some documentation that explains what each and every MakeCode block does, including interact
, but I was unsuccessful. Certainly this exists somewhere, no?
* The following is a great example of a survival world where the player had to do everything via programming. It was done in Java Edition with the awesome ComputerCraft mod:

There are some nice docs on MC:EDU Makecode here:

I have tried attack, till, destroy and interact, and none of them will allow me to collect the sweet berries. =[

Thanks, Deborah. Yes, I saw those already, and they look great. But they also seem to be incomplete. Hopefully, someone can point me to a complete set.

My experience too. I don't understand how or why it wouldn't be possible though. Does the JavaScript or Python code have this option perhaps? A player would gather berries by right-clicking on the bush, if that helps to shed light on this issue.

So I don't believe it is possible, as interact would be the only method that it should be supported under that I am aware of. It is likely just an underlying bug though, as each interaction would have to be added (to the interact command) and with so many behaviours/interactions in Minecraft, adding each to the interact command would likely be a big job, especially with picking berries being niche (vs something like flicking a lever).
I am sure it could be added in the future though, as the interact command is still relatively new at this stage.
