Student sign in button missing

Last school year, students could click a student sign in button and then just provide an email and then get right into game mode play and the lessons. I went to use it today and the student button is gone and if my students want to sign in, they have to fill in a profile card with a lot of information. It's not making this simple and I want to protect my students, so is there no longer a quick way to get to the lessons?
