Hi Wesley, I think I am having the same/similar problem, here is my post. Hoping for a solution soon. I submitted a ticket as well and will let you know if I hear anything.

Thanks John, your post and documentation is much more thorough than mine! Hopefully we'll get an answer soon! I knew I could not be alone in this struggle... :-)

Yup!  We were distance learning most of last year and had this issue then. I had hopes that it would clear up with MC and Chrome updates and running it on our network, alas, it is still with us. Thanks for the save location tip too.

    An update for you.

We are making progress and we may have licked it.. We are still testing this out, but here is what we have done.

The suggestion from the Minecraft tech support team was to:
    • Update to Chrome OS 92 (we were already there)
    • Manually update Android System Webview in the Google Play Store (we do not have the access to do that)
But, we updated to OS 93 hoping Google would trigger the webview update.
It appears as if that worked at least partially. I successfully logged in 25+ times after a fresh Minecraft install.

Authentication was seamless - no Microsoft or Minecraft login screen appeared any longer. I did get a notice when launching the first time that Minecraft reset its global resources.

    It was looking good, 25 times in a row . . .

On the 26th login, the Minecraft sign-in screen appeared and then the Microsoft authentication popped up after that. I was able to sign in and continue after that though, and each successive restart and launch since has been successful.

    Fingers crossed.
