Classroom Mode Suggestion predictive text for commands

It would be really helpful if the Classroom mode and NPC GUI could provide predictive text when entering commands.  Sometimes it is just not convenient to go to the chat in game to write the command and copy it to paste into the NPC or classroom mode.  Especially since you can't have two separate instances of Minecraft education edition open at once or if you are in make code and classroom mode at the same time and CAN'T have Minecraft Education Edition open.

This is an interesting thought. =]

I remember working on commands in the NPC editing window and making booboos and perhaps this would have decreased my mess up rate! =D

What I did was create a separate document with the commands, but I cannot recall - doesn't pasting work? But predictive text is a sweet tool, no doubt! I bet you are making some great NPCs!

I do the same thing. I have a document of commonly used commands (and uncommon) and I copy and past and modify as needed. In game, particularly with a command chain or similar sequences, I'll select all from one command block (CTRL-A) and then paste where needed.

There is a kind of predictive text already. When you type into a command line, the options for the next part of the command appear above the line, so I'll frequently use this to get the correct context for the Education Edition then copy it into my NPCs or command blocks.

I think where things fail for the most part, is that there is no official central hub for concise advanced information and practical uses and example of commands and redstone. I've spent hours watching youtube and going through fan sites piecing information together on how to do things. I've gone so far as to build a world where I have examples of everything I learn so one, I have a practical example I can look at if I need a refresher, and two something I can share with students and teachers and save them some time.

I totally do the go into world, type the command using predictive text there copy and paste.   And spreadsheets are great for being able to select and copy quickly.  However, sometimes with possibly multiple worlds full of rambunctious students when you don't have a world open on the computer you have classroom mode open on, sometimes you don't have time to manually type out the command when it takes you three times to get it all right and being able to just start typing and hit tab would be so much easier, especially when you just need to teleport one student to the other (in which case the paste bin file wouldn't really help much in getting their names typed correctly, quickly.)

Also, it would be great if the classroom mode could also log commands used.

I did find the chat log from classroom mode which is great that you can log the chat.  But it would also be helpful if we could log the commands used etc.
