Unable to connect to friend's world

When I put in my friend's world code, the world name shows up for confirmation. I click next, and the loading screen starts up. Suddenly, a message saying: "Unable to connect to world" pops up. The only button I can press is "Ok". I have been unable to fix this. Also, me and my friend have multiple worlds, only some of these are affected with this bug. The others work perfectly fine. Can I have help?

  Also, I am unable to upload a screenshot of this bug because it is not a image file, just a screenshot.

  Hi Ian MacLeod, 

  Quick question, have you enabled port forwarding on your router? It will need to be done for whoever is hosting the world.

  I've also had some problems like that, but it fixed when i tried joining again

  1. You have to join again

  2. Make sure you are on the same domain as the friend's world

  3. Restart the application if still doesn't work

  Hi Ian MacLeod, 

  What have you tried so far? 

  In addition to setting up port forwarding, you both need to be on the same domain and you both have to be running the most recent release of Minecraft Education Edition.
