Minecraft Education Edition doesn't let me sign in.

When I try to log into Minecraft Education Edition, I get an error message saying that I should check my connection, however that's not the problem because my connection works just fine. I have already read a few threads about people having similar problems but I DO NOT have 2 versions of Minecraft Education Edition installed in the same device. I only have the Microsoft Store version. I have the latest Windows version (21H1) Please help.

  After rebooting your wifi and your computer, make sure that your account is active.

  Wow, you just answered my question with a question! i have 2 versions of minecraft edu on the same device. One beta, one not beta. Thanks!!!
