M:EE Multiplayer Connection Issues
Unable to connect is the phrase I'm seeing reported a lot this week. Personally, I have hosted a world on a Windows machine, hard-wired to excellent internet, and students and teachers were unable to join. Similarly, I could not join hosted worlds.
All versions matched 1.14.50
CBs and Win devices affected
Can see the hosted name/world name

Hi James Unger sorry to hear you're having trouble with multiplayer connections. Are your students and teachers all at home, in the classroom, or a mixture of both?

We are having the same issue. Students cannot join the world. One student somehow was updated to 1470 while the rest of us (including the instructor) are still on 1450. We are all in a classroom together on brand new laptops. We have all joined with these machines. This problem is new this week. How do we update? The student with the updated account has no idea how it happened. The laptops stay here at the museum.

Darcie Gudger we released a new version of Minecraft: Education Edition on Tuesday and your machines should have all auto-updated. If there are still some on an old version let me know and we can investigate.

All of our computers have updated for class this week to 1470, but we are still unable to get into the hosted world.

Hi there Darcie Gudger. I'm sorry to hear you're having some difficulty here connecting. Can you let me know what error message you are receiving when you try to access this world?

We put in the code to enter a shared world, it asks if we want to join X world, then after a few moments, it says, unable to connect.
