Fire damage glitch for zombies once command block is activated for other mobs
Hi there,
My issue is that for two separate world now I have discovered that once I activate a repeating command block to /kill a particular unwanted entity, such as a creeper so my students can complete tasks in survival without their stuff being blown to bits, this interferes with the game mechanic where the zombies and skeletons die after catching fire in the morning. Here's a quick video showing you what I mean:
Note: At one point in the video I thought I just wasn't waiting long enough, but that was because the zombie had entered an area where there was a radius /kill command against them (protecting the villagers in a village my students needed to interact with). Once outside the radius, the problem of zombie persistence... persists. :)

Hello! Could you share the command so I could see what the issue is? Alternatively you can disable mob griefing to fix your problem. To do this use the command /gamerule mobgriefing false.
The command you would want to use to completely kill creepers always is /kill @e[type=creeper] set the command block to repeat and your done. You need to make sure its either in the spawn chunks or a tickarea though because if the chunk is unloaded command blocks wont work3
