Hi there Eric Chen. Minecraft: Education Edition does not support mods, custom texture packs, or shaders. I apologizes for the confusion here!

Hi Andrew-L, why is there a "global resources" folder in the settings where you could select packs if they are not supported? It's really misleading.
Edit : I guess what I mean is; what is this option for if packs aren't supported?

Hi there Philippe Chapados Tremblay. I apologize for any confusion here. This folder is part a standard Minecraft: Education Edition install as M:EE is an offshoot of Bedrock edition which also has this folder.

Global resources section is for downloaded resource packs. There are ways to get custom textures using mcpack format but it's honestly not worth the trouble, because there is a lot you have to do.
