Resolution of Education Edition textures

Apparently if I try to add textures greater than 16×16 pixels they do not appear with the resolution that was added, this lower the resolution of the blocks so that they remain 16×16 pixels again

  Hi there Dark Gato. Minecraft: Education Edition, unlike other versions of Minecraft, does not support texture packs or mods.
