Makecode won't connect for students

One of the reasons for these types of errors can be the security or firewall settings that the school has set up (this also effects home users as every home network has its own settings). I will link our IT admin guide here for you to take a look at, there is a list of URLs that must be whitelisted for the game functions to work. If that solution does not work please submit a technical support ticket so we can take a deeper dive.

My students are seeing this as well with the Minecraft Coding Fundamentals lessons.

@AdamS - thanks for the information, I've forwarded it to our IT dept.
I'm hopeful that adjusting the firewall will fix the issue, however I've seen the "Unable to connect" issue on SOME students and not others. It always works on my account.
Thanks again.

Not a problem, like I said if that doesn't work you can open up a ticket with technical support and we can start to get in a little deeper if needbe

I'm having the same issue. How do I open a technical support ticket with the minecraft team. My students are using chromebooks.
