Restricting Building Areas
Just a quick question. I have played Minecraft before, and I know that there are options to restrict where players can build. Is there this feature within the game? I plan on using classroom mode and one of the default "Towns" to start with. However, I don't want students breaking things but would rather restrict them to building areas.
Is there a way of doing this?

In Minecraft Education Edition there are a few options.
1. Border blocks that blocks users from entering restricted areas.
2. Allow/deny-blocks that deny or allow users from building or destroying on selected areas.
3. Immutable world option. Make it possible to deny all changes on a world.
The three can be used at the same time, making it possible to select where users are allowed to be and where they are allowed to build.0 -

You can set command blocks to make students game mode as Adventure when they enter an area, and when they leave an area their game mode shifts to Survival / Creative. Let me know if you need more details as to how to set it up.
