Can you make an education edition server?

Is it possible to make an education edition server, without running the game itself? Similar to the Bedrock edition server which is available (https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/download/server/bedrock/)

  Unfortunately there isn't a way to set up a Minecraft: Education Edition server the way you can with Bedrock and Java.  We are exploring short and long term solutions to allow multiplayer across networks and hope to have some recommendations over the next few weeks.  The current Minecraft: Education Edition multiplayer experience was optimized for use in the classroom over the same network, and we hadn't considered multiplayer across networks as a primary scenario.  With our current situation that has changed and we are actively thinking about how to address this.
