About corals disappearing when placed in water

In Minecraft Education's aquarium tutorial, why does it disappear when I put coral in the water? Can you tell me how to put corals in water?

  The world where the problem occurred is not the world in the library, but the newly created world, and it is a tutorial called Aquarium.

  Did you know that coral cannot grow in some places? Try placing coral on sand and see if that helps. =]
