Game speed settings
Hey,
It's already existing world from your library, but the speed setting on it is insane. Its okay on a host computer, but everyone who joins that world zooms around in an insane speed, it's impossible to play.
In the settings menu speed option is grayed out. How do I change game speed setting of a game mode from your library that has already been set up?

Hey there,
Sorry to hear you are running into some issues with some worlds in Minecraft Education.
What worlds do this, any world from the library or a specific one?
Do other users also have this issue that you know of?
Does it happen if you launch a regular world?

Hey,
It's on this "Pirates cove" world.
I assume it's the same for everyone, because the world was set up that way. It's not a bug.
No, it does not.
I'm not complaining that something is broken or anything. The world is set up that way with insane speed.
My question is, how do I modify the game speed setting?

Oh oh I see!
I do not believe there is a game speed modifier setting to adjust.

What are you talking about, of course there is. It's just greyed out, I can't modify it.

Hey there!
Thanks for the screenshot. That is the Minecraft Seed setting not the Speed setting. The seed determines the world you are in. Each world has a unique identifier called the seed, so if your friends like your world spawn or something like that, you can share the seed number and they can launch that same world on their end for themselves. The reason it is greyed out is because it cannot be changed, it is a unique identifier kind of like a fingerprint.

Omg, Im an idiot. Yeah, thanks for clearing this out.
But there has to be some command or something that allows the creators of that world to modify the speed. How fast you move in the world. Isn't there?
